Use and storage

Propylene glycol is the food-grade carrier the flavour sits in — most of the concentrate (over 90%), with no ethanol, so it's alcohol-free. The remaining share is the flavour itself: the characterising aroma blend that gives it its taste, plus a light cooling agent behind the slushie-style chill. That cooling agent is used at a low level and isn't separately itemised on the Safety Data Sheet, so it doesn't appear in the table above. The compounds above with CAS numbers are the principal ones declared on the Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
